IT&MM Committee
The IT&MM Committee was disbanded at the end of 2006.
Terms of Reference
The IT&MM Committee should develop, review and recommend policy relative to the use of IT & MM in teaching, research and administration in the Faculty, specifically:
- Develop, review and recommend guidelines concerning Faculty allocation for equipment in IT & MM.
- Provide advice on major equipment grants with respect to IT & MM.
- Develop and recommend policies with respect to staff development and promotion of the use of technology in teaching and research in the Faculty.
- Provide advice to Academic Programs Committee concerning the use of IT and teaching.
- New interpretations of existing policy and minor policy changes are reported to, and subject to review by, SCHD and Faculty Board.
- Major policy changes should be approved by IT & MM and reported to SCHD, who may recommend adoption by Faculty Board, amend, or refer back for clarification or reconsideration of any such item.
